اكد الدكتور وائل خيرى المدير التنفيذى لمبادرة حوض النيل ان كلية الهندسة جامعة القاهرة قامت بدراسة تصميم سد الالفية الاثيوبى بدقة شدية واتضح لها بعد عمل الدراسة الوافية للمشروع بانة لا يؤثر على حصة مصر من مياه النيل واصاف ايضا ان هناك انقسام بين دول حوض النيل وادى ذلك لصعوبة الحصول على تمويل المبادرة
فى مفاجاه من العيال الثقيل فجرها المدير التنفيذى لمبادرة حوص النيل الدكتور وائل خيرى تقول ان الدراسات للجدوى الاقتصادى لمشروع سد الالفية الى قامت من اجلها المبادرة تختلف اختلاف كبير عن التصميم الحالى الذى تم الاعلان عنة من قبل الحكومة بحيث ان الدراسات السابقة والتى قام بها المكتب الفنى للنيل الشرقى كانت تدور حول طاقته التخزينية فى حدود 30 مليار متر مكعب من المياه وعلى ارتفاع 100 متر فى حين اوضحت دراسة كلية الهندسة انة لا يوجد تاثير على مصر
ولا يشكل ذلك اى اثار سلبية على حصة مصر من المياه

In the surprise of dependents heavy triggered executive director of the initiative Hos Nile Dr. Wael Khairy says that studies of the feasibility of Economic Dam Project Millennium has for it the initiative differ significantly different from the current design, which was announced by the government so that the previous studies and by the Technical Office of the Nile the East was more about the storage capacity in the range of 30 billion cubic meters of water, at an altitude of 100 meters, while the College of Engineering study showed there was no impact on Egypt
This is not so any negative impact on Egypt's water quota
