تقدم مانويل جوزيه المدير الفنى للأهلى باعتذار ضعيف للصحفيين عما بدر منه تجاههم فى إحدى البرامج الفضائية ، مشيرا إلى إنه لم يقصد منها الإساءة فى حق السادة الصحفيين المحترمين الذين يكن لهم كل التقدير
وكان جوزيه قد وصف الصحفيين بـناس قذرة خلال إحدى برامج قناة الأهلى، وهو ما أثار حالة من الغضب والاستياء داخل الوسط الإعلامى ودفع رابطة النقاد الرياضيين للتهديد بتحريك دعوى قضائية ضده إن لم يعتذر عن هذا اللفظ الخارج
وأضاف المدرب البرتغالى فى بيان رسمى نشره موقع الأهلى الرسمى أنه يعتذر إذا كان أحد قد فهم بطريق الخطأ أنه يقصد التجاوز فى حق الصحفيين الذين تقوم علاقته معهم على الاحترام المتبادل والاعتزاز بدورهم
وأكد جوزيه إنه كان يرد فى هذا البرنامج على شخص تجاوز فى حقه وخرج عن حدود اللياقة ووصفه فى كتاباته بألفاظ خادشة للحياء لن يذكرها احتراما للذوق العام ، مؤكدا إنه سوف يتقدم بشكوى إلى رابطة النقاد الرياضيين لحفظ حقوقه الأدبية لدى الشخص الذى تسبب فى هذا اللغط وأساء إليه بعيدا عن أية انتقادات فنية التى هى حق لكل الصحفيين والإعلاميين
