اعلن اليوم مجلس الوزراء الاسرائيلي قرار بمنع المواطنين الاسرائيلين من الدخول عبر معبر طابا الحدودي و الذي يربط بين اسرائيل و سيناء

وابرزت وسائل الاعلام ان مجلس الوزراء الاسرائيلي اتخذ القرار بعد اجتماع امني استغرق 3 ساعات برئاسة بنيامين نتانياهو

ولأول مرة منذ 1982 يتم اغلاق هذا المعبر مع مصر:

حيث تم فتح الحدود تماما بين البلدين في عام 1982 ولم يغلق حتى اثناء الهجمات الارهابية التي وقعت عام 2004 في ما عرف بتفجيرات طابا وقد قتل فيها عدد من السياح الاسرائيلين اثناء قضاء عطلة الاعياد اليهودية في سيناء

يأتي هذا القرار اثر توقعات الاجهزة الامنية الاسرائيلية في اسرائيل بأمكانية حدوث هجمات تستهدف اليهود في سيناء

كما تعيش الاجهزة الامنية الاسرائيلية على الحدود مع مصر حالة من التأهب القصوى خوفا من حدوث هجمات تستهدف العمق الحدودي الاسرائيلي يكون مصدرها سيناء
