اصدرت لجنة ترشيح الفيلم المصري المُشارك في تصفيات الأوسكار لأفضل فيلم أجنبي أربعة أفلام تم إنتاجها خلال هذا العام لتتنافس على العمل الذي سيمثّل مصر في النهاية بداخل المسابقة والأفلام الأربعة هي

فيلم 678 للمخرج محمد دياب
فيلم حاوي للمخرج إبراهيم البطوط
فيلم الشوق للمخرج خالد الحجر
وتتكوّن اللجنة التي تم تشكيلها بترشيحٍ من المركز القومي للسينما ومباركة من وزير الثقافة المصري عماد أبو غازي من ثمانية أعضاء وهم: المخرجون داوود عبدالسيد ومجدى أحمد على وهالة خليل والنقاد يوسف شريف رزق الله ورامى عبدالرازق وياسر محب والممثل خالد الصاوى
يُذكر أن الفيلم الذي سيتم اختياره سيدخل ضمن تصفيات مع ما يقارب السبعين فيلماً من مختلف الدول يتم تقليصها إلى عشرة أفلام ثم أخيراً إلى خمسة فقط ضمن الحفل الذي سيقام في أواخر فبراير المقبل
وكان الفيلم المصري الأخير الذي شارك في تصفيات الأوسكار هو رسائل البحر للمخرج داوود عبدالسيد والذي تم اختياره في العام الماضي إلا أنه لم يتجاوز التصفية الأولى

The Commission is composed which was formed on the nomination of the National Center for Cinema and the blessing of the Egyptian Minister of Culture Emad Abu Ghazi of eight members: the directors David Sayyed Magdi Ahmed Ali and Hala Khalil and critics Youssef Sheriff Rizkallah and Rami Abdel Razek and Yasser lover and actor Khaled El Sawy
The film which will be selected will go into qualifying with nearly seventy films from different countries is reduced to a dozen films and finally to only five in the ceremony which will be held in late February
The film was the last Egyptian who took part in the Oscar-qualifying is the Messages from the Sea directed by Daoud Abdel-Sayyed who was chosen last year but it did not exceed the filter first
