كما نعت الجماعة والتى تلقب بالجهاد و التوحيد مقتل زعيم المقاومة الشعبية و نائبه و ثلاثة اخرين فى غارة اسرائيلية مساء الخميس استهدفت بعض المواقع فى غزة..
وقالت الجماعة في بيان لها على شبكة الانترنت بثته بعض وكالات الانباء العالمية “اننا في جماعة التوحيد والجهاد نبارك تلك السواعد المباركة التي دكت حصون العدو اليهودي الحاقد فيما يسمى بمنطقة “ايلات” جنوب فلسطين المحتلة حيث مرغوا أنف اليهود في التراب وأذاقوهم الويلات في عقر دارهم رغم كل التحصينات والتدابير الأمنية الواهية.”
