الأوسط المصرية الرسمية عن شهود عيان قولهم إنهم شاهدوا مسلحين ينلون من سيارة بدون لوحات معدنية ويقتحمون محطة رئيسية للضخ بخط الأنابيب قبيل وقوع الانفجار
وشوهدت سيارات الإطفاء وهي تتجه إلى محطة الغا بقرية الميدان (25 كلم غرب مدينة العريش) لإخماد ألسنة لهب تصاعدت من مكان الانفجار الذي تسبب في قطع الغا عن الخط الذي يود إسرائيل والأردن وكذلك المنال والمصانع في شمال سيناء بالغا الطبيعي
وصرح مصدر أمني بأن الانفجار لم يسفر عن أي خسائر في الأرواح لكنه أوضح أن عددا من المنال البدوية والعشش المحيطة بقرية الميدان احترقت جراء الانفجار
وبدأت الأجهة الأمنية بالمنطقة تكثيف جهودها لاعتقال مرتكبي الهجوم وتحديد طريقة تنفيذه
وأشار المصدر إلى أن الانفجار جاء مختلفا هذه المرة حيث إن الحراس فوجئوا بالهجوم على عكس ما كان يحدث في السابق إذ كانت تقوم جماعة مسلحة أو ملثمون باقتياد الحراس إلى خارج المحطة ثم ينفذون التفجير
ومنذ الإطاحة بالرئيس المصري حسني مبارك في فبراير شباط الماضي تعرض خط الأنابيب للتفجير عدة مرات من جانب مهاجمين من المعتقد أنهم يعارضون بيع الغا المصري لإسرائيل
ووقع الهجوم السابق في يوليوتموز الماضي عندما اقتحم مهاجمون مسلحون برشاشات في شاحنة صغيرة محطة للضخ ونسفوها

And fire trucks were seen heading to a gas station in the village of the field (25 km west of the town of El Arish) to extinguish flames rose from the scene of the explosion that caused the cut gas line which provides Israel and Jordan as well as homes and factories in North Sinai natural gas
A security source said that the explosion did not result in any loss of life but he explained that a number of Bedouin homes and nests around the village area burned by the blast
