وكانت تقارير صحفية قد نسبت لإليسا القول إن مصر تعيش حالة من الجمود حالياً بعد أن أفقدتها ثورة 25 يناير شيئا من ثباتها وحكمتها، مؤكدة في الوقت نفسه أن تخوفها من الحكم الديمقراطي لبعض الدول العربية مثل لبنان لا يعني قبولها بالحكم الديكتاتوري
واستطردت كنت أقدّر التعايش الإسلامي المسيحي فيها؛ إذ لم تكن العلاقات بينهما على أساس الدين، ولا أحد يسأل الآخر ما هو دينه أو ملّته كما هو حالنا في لبنان، وإنما للأسف هناك من أخذ الثورة الكبيرة التي حصلت إلى أماكن أخرى أفقدتها شيئاً من ثباتها وحكمتها

يُشار إلى أن إليسا وصلت إلى مصر الأسبوع الماضي، بغرض تسجيل تلك الحلقة، بالإضافة لتحضيرها لألبومها الجديد الذي قررت تأجيله لأجل غير مسمى لعدم استقرار الأوضاع في مصر
