اثناء تواجد الفنانة فيفى عبده بأحد المقاهى بحى المنهدسين بالقاهرة وحينما كانت تدخن الشيشة كعادتها استمعت الى حديث كان دائرا بين مجموعة من الفتيات يتحدثن عن فضائل الثورة المصرية العظيمة وهو ما اغضب فيفى عبده وجعلها تتدخل فى سير مجرى الحديث معترضة على كلام تلك الفتيات وقامت بمهاجمة الثورة وقد وصفها الفتيات بأنها من اتباع النظام السابق وتطورت الامر الى ان وصل حسب شهود عيان لتلك الواقعة الى الاشتباك بالايدى بين الطرفان مما جعل الفتيات يقومون بضربها فمن الجدير بالذكر ان فيفى عبده لم تعلن تأيدها الى الثورة الا مؤخرا بعد نجاجها واسقاطها للرئيس المخلوع حسنى فقد كانت دائما تصرح بأنها كانت طريحة الفراش وتتناول الحقن المخدرة لتسكين الامها وقتها مشيرة الى انها لم تكن ضد الثوار
