المهندس خيرت الشاطر مرشح جماعة الاخوان المسلمين وحزب الحرية و العدالة لانتخابات الرئاسة المصرية والذين اعلنوا عنه اليوم في مؤتمرا صحفيا معلنين ترشيحهم رسميا كمرشح للحزب ولجماعة الاخوان المسلمين لانتخابات رئيس الجمهورية 2012 بعد تغيير وجهة نظرهم بعد ان كانوا اعلنوا سابقا رفضهم لترشيح اي مرشحا للرئاسة وانهم سيدعمون مرشحا من المتقدمين ولكن الان تغيرت الاراء وتباينت الردود حول هذا الموقف وهو مادفع الجميع للانقسام حول قرارات مجلس شورى الجماعة رافضين ترشح الاخوان
