وأكد المصدر العسكرى أنه إذا لم يتم الموافقة على المبالغ الإضافية من جانب الحكومة الإسرائيلية لوزارة الدفاع سيضطر الجيش الإسرائيلى، اعتبارا من الشهر المقبل إلى إلغاء تدريبات لوحدات نظامية واحتياطية مختلفة، وإلغاء طلعات تدريبية لطائرات سلاح الجو، بالإضافة إلى وقف شراء كميات من الذخيرة وقطع الغيار للأسلحة المتطورة
وأشارت الصحيفة الإسرائيلية إلى أن الدول والمنظمات المختلفة المعادية لإسرائيل زادت من حجم تزودها بصواريخ مضاد للدبابات وزادوا من حجم مستودع الصواريخ والقذائف، مشيرة إلى أن تقديرات الجيش تشير إلى أنه فى حال نشوب حرب ستتلقى إسرائيل نحو 8000 صاروخ وقذيفة
وأوضح المصدر العسكرى الذى لم تكشف الصحيفة العبرية عن اسمه أن الجيش الإسرائيلى بحاجة إلى ثلاث بطاريات أخرى على الأقل من منظومة القبة الحديدية لاعتراض القذائف الصاروخية، غير أن الإعتمادات المالية المخصصة لا تكفى لشرائها
وأضاف المصدر الإسرائيلى أن إيران وسوريا وحزب الله تعمل فى الوقت الحالى على تطوير أسلحة صاروخية دقيقة، وأنه يتعين على إسرائيل التصدى لهذا التهديد، مشيراً إلى أن تقييمات الجيش تشير إلى أن حزب الله يعانى من مشاكل مالية ولن يقدم هذا العام على تنفيذ عمليات ضد إسرائيل إذا لم تدفعه إيران فى هذا الاتجاه، على حد قوله
وأوضح المصدر العسكرى أن فى حال إقرار الحكومة الإيرانية تخصيب اليورانيوم إلى الدرجة المستخدمة عسكريا، فإنها ستكون بحاجة إلى فترة عام ونصف لإقامة المنشأة الخاصة بذلك
ونقلت هاآرتس عن مصادر أخرى بالجيش الإسرائيلى قولهم: درسنا الميزانية لعام 2012 فى كافة المجالات والمهام المستقبلية، وتوصلنا إلى مبلغ 302 مليار شيكل يوجد منها فقط 225 مليار شيكل، وبعد التقليص فى عدد من المهام، سيكون النقص الإجمالى لدينا هو 62 مليار شيكل
