كان المجلس العسكري قد استقالة حكومة الدكتور عصام شرف بعد التظاهرات الاخيرة ثم قام بتكليف الدكتور كمال الجنزوري لتشكيل حكومة انقاذ وطني ومن الجدير بالذكر ان الدكتور كمال الجنزوري كان من اكفأ الرجال الذين تولوا رئاسة الحكومة في تاريخ مصر الحديث بشهادة الكثير من الذين عايشوه وقد ترك الحكومة بعد خلاف مع النظام السابق
