A lawyer for the defense of Hosni Mubarak on Friday that the former president carry the President of the Supreme Council of the Egyptian armed forces, Field Marshal Hussein Tantawi, part of the responsibility for the felling of the Internet for demonstrators during the Rhalta led to his overthrow, was quick to accuse the army into exile.
The court issued the May 28 ruling to fine Mubarak and former Prime Minister Ahmed Nazif and former Interior Minister Habib al-Adli $ 90 million in compensation for damage caused to the economy as a result of cut telephone and internet services during the Egyptian revolution.
The lawyer said the former president Mohamed Abdel Wahab told reporters that Mubarak's offer Thursday appealed against the ruling which he said the decision to cut off the internet taken by a committee which included Field Marshal Tantawi, commander of the army and the defense minister at the time, without consulting him in advance.
The military was quick to deny these accusations, describing them as "bickering."
The news agency quoted the official Middle East for "a military official source" as saying that he "denies the rumors about the Field Marshal Tantawi's decision to cut off communication in the revolution."
He appealed to the source according to the agency, "the various parties to keep the armed forces away from the rhetoric."
The army spokesman told AFP that the former president said the army is considered "abandoned" when he was Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces and that he now wanted to "settle accounts" with the army.

قال محامي الدفاع عن حسني مبارك الجمعة ان الرئيس المخلوع حمل رئيس المجلس الاعلى للقوات المسلحة المصرية المشير حسين طنطاوي جزءا من المسؤولية عن قطع الانترنت عن المتظاهرين ابان الثورةالتي ادت الى الاطاحة به، في اتهام سارع الجيش الى نفيه
وكانت المحكمة اصدرت في 28 ايار/مايو حكما بتغريم مبارك ورئيس وزرائه السابق احمد نظيف ووزير الداخلية السابق حبيب العادلي مبلغ 90 مليون دولار تعويضا عن اضرار لحقت بالاقتصاد نتيجة قطع خدمات الهاتف والانترنت خلال الثورة المصرية
وصرح محامي الرئيس السابق محمد عبد الوهاب للصحافيين ان مبارك تقدم الخميس باستئناف ضد الحكم قال فيه ان قرار قطع الانترنت اتخذته لجنة ضمت المشير طنطاوي قائد الجيش ووزير الدفاع في حينه، دون استشارته مسبقا
وسارع الجيش الى نفي هذه الاتهامات، واصفا اياها بالمهاترات
ونقلت وكالة انباء الشرق الاوسط الرسمية عن مصدر عسكري مسؤول قوله انه ينفي ما تردد عن ان المشير طنطاوي صاحب قرار قطع الاتصالات اثناء الثورة
وناشد المصدر بحسب الوكالة مختلف الاطراف ان تبقي القوات المسلحة بمنأى عن هذه المهاترات
وكان متحدث باسم الجيش صرح لوكالة فرانس برس ان الرئيس السابق يعتبر ان الجيش تخلى عنه عندما كان القائد الاعلى للقوات المسلحة وانه يريد الان تسوية الحسابات مع الجيش
ومثل مبارك امام المحكمة الاربعاء بتهم الفساد وقتل مئات المتظاهرين خلال الثورة التي جرت في شهري كانون الثاني/يناير وشباط/فبراير الماضيين
