رسميا حزب النور السلفي يعلن تأييده للشيخ حازم صلاح ابو اسماعيل هذا بعد لقاء جمعه بادارة الدعو السلفية ومكتب حزب النور السلفي اليوم بالاسكندرية في منزل الشيخ ياسر برهامي احد كبار رجال حزب النور و كبار رجال الدعوة السلفية في الاسكندرية وعى الفور اعلن الشيخ ابو اسحق الحويني عن ان حزب النور السلفي قد اعلن تأييد الشيخ حازم صلاح ابو اسماعيل مرشحا للرئاسة عن الحزب ليقطع كافة شكوك التي اشارت لتاييد حزب النور لمرشح جماعة الاخوان الدكتور خيرت الشاطر وهذا جاء على لسان ابو اسحق الحويني او ابو يحيي الحويني على الفيس والذي اعلن ايضا ان الحزب سيعلن رسميا عن هذا الامر خلال ساعات
