حيث تقدمت السفيرة الامريكية في القاهرة بتقديم اعتذارا رسميا الى مصر في اعقاب حادث السائحين الامريكيين الثلاثة الذين تم القبض عليهم بتهمة تمويل منظامات داخل مصر تحت مسمى منظمات حقوقية وبعدها قامت السفيرة بارسال خطابا الى السيد وزير العدل تطالبة بالافراج عن المقبوض عليهم واطلاق سراحهم وهو ماعتبره مجلس الشعب ورئيسة الدكتور سعد الدين الكتاتني تدخلا سافرا في شئون مصر الداخلية وهو ماتم رفضة وبعدها بيوم واحد تقوم السفيرة الامريكية بان تاتي لتقدم اعتذارا رسميا للدكتور سعد الكتتاتني في مكتبة بمجلس الشعب
