ووصلت جولي الى ليبيا يوم الثلاثاء وتفقدت مصراتة ورأت ما حل بها من دمار وهي المدينة التي سيطر عليها الثوار بعد أسابيع من القتال العنيف بينما كانوا يسعون لخلع الزعيم الليبي معمر القذافي في وقت سابق من العام
وكانت جولي تتحدث في بهو فندق بالمدينة وأشادت بالمشاركة غير العادية لليبيين العاديين سواء في جيش الثوار أو في المجلس الوطني الانتقالي بينما يسعون لبناء دولتهم
وقالت جولي لرويترز الامر غير العادي هو ان العديد من الناس الذين هم جزء من الحل وكانوا يتولون مناصب حتى في الجيش وتقاعدوا قبل الثورة وعملوا في ادارة مطاعم أو بيع ملابس أطفال تركوا جميعهم أعمالهم هذه وهم الآن يعملون من أجل دولتهم
وأضافت فقدوا جميعا أفرادا من أسرهم تكبدوا خسائر في الارواح بين صفوفهم هم أنفسهم فقدوا أطرافا ورغم ذلك فانهم جميعا يحاربون من أجل شيء يؤمنون به ومن أجل مستقبل البلاد وأبنائهم لذلك فان هذا مؤثرا
وجابت جولي شوارع طرابلس في سيارة دفع رباعي ومعها حراس شخصيون
وقالت انها التقت بمسؤولين من المجلس الوطني الانتقالي خلال زيارتها التي تستمر يومين وأبرزت الاحتياجات الكثيرة لليبيين بينما يسعون لاعادة بناء مجتمعهم ومؤسساتهم
ومضت تقول هذا البلد يمر بالكثير من الاحداث يمر بمراحل انتقالية على مستويات كثيرة الامر لا يتعلق بالغذاء فحسب وليست الظروف الصحية أو القوانين الجديدة التي تحتاج الى ان توضع انها كل هذه الامور دفعة واحدة
وقالت ان زيارتها تهدف الى ابراز محنة المهاجرين والليبيين الذين نزحوا بسبب الحرب
ومضت تقول أنا هنا أيضا من أجل الشعب الليبي للتضامن معه أعتقد أن هذه الثورة قامت من أجل حقوق الانسان وهو ما أعتقد أن هؤلاء الناس قاموا به حقا وسعوا اليه ولمساعدتهم على تنفيذ هذه القوانين الجديدة ولمساعدتهم فيما يتعلق بمستقبل بلدهم
وزارت جولي لاجئين ليبيين في مالطا وفي جزيرة لامبيدوسا الايطالية في يونيو حزيران وتوجهت الى تونس في ابريل نيسان لطلب الدعم الدولي لمن يفرون من الثورة هناك
وجولي سفيرة لمفوضية الامم المتحدة العليا لشؤون اللاجئين ومن المتوقع أن تعلن عن دور أكبر لها قريبا
Julie and went to Libya on Tuesday and inspected the Misurata and saw what happened to the destruction of a city seized by the rebels after weeks of heavy fighting while they were trying to take off the Libyan leader Muammar Gaddafi earlier in the year
Julie was talking in the lobby of hotel in the city and praised the partnership is normal for ordinary Libyans whether in the army or the rebels in the Transitional National Assembly while seeking to build their state
Jolie told Reuters: It is extraordinary that many people who are part of the solution they occupy the positions even in the army and retired before the revolution and worked in the management of restaurants selling clothes children left all their actions and are now working for the state
She had lost all family members have suffered casualties among their ranks they themselves have lost limbs however they are all fighting for something they believe in It is for the future of the country and their children so this is impressive
Jolie has traveled the streets of Tripoli in the SUV and her bodyguards
She said she had met with officials of the Transitional National Assembly during the two-day visit highlighted the many needs of the Libyans as they seek to rebuild their society and their institutions
And went on to say This country is going through a lot of events Going through stages of transition on many levels This is not about food and not only health conditions or new laws that need to be placed It's all these things at once
She said that her visit aims to highlight the plight of immigrants and Libyans who were displaced by the war
And went on to say I'm here also for the Libyan people for the solidarity with him I think that this revolution has for human rights which I think that these people have done truly and sought to him and to help them implement these new laws and to help them regarding the future of their country
Jolie visited a refugee for the Libyans in Malta and the Italian island of Lampedusa in June and went to Tunisia in April to request international support for those fleeing the revolution there
